On 1st April 2019, North Beckton Primary School officially joins The Tapscott Learning Trust.

We have been working very successfully in partnership with the Trust and supporting North Beckton since Spring 2017. At the school‟s last HMI visit in May 2018, the Inspector, Mr Brian Oppen-heim, especially noted that considerable improvements had been achieved at the school with the support of The Tapscott Learning Trust.

At the start of this academic year, Governors at North Beckton commenced the formal consultation process to seek the views of its parents, carers, staff and the local community on the proposal to convert to an academy and to join TTLT. Governors then received a final report on this consultation and took the decision in January 2019 that the conversion should proceed, and this was agreed by the Department of Education.
