As part of Year 1's art learning, the children explored the work of the famous artist Yayoi Kusama. They discovered that she is known for using lots of dots in her artwork and that she loves creating art inspired by fruit.

The children had great fun using clay to sculpt our own fruits before carefully painting them in Yayoi Kusama’s style, using bright colours and patterns of dots. The finished pieces look fantastic, the children are very proud of their creative work!
