Year 3 Trip to Museum of London

On 12th October, Year 3 visited the Museum of London at St. Pauls to enrich their learning around Prehistoric Britain, which they have been studying this term for their topic.

All classes experienced the “Hands-on Pre-History” workshop which enabled the pupils to get their hands on artefacts such as arrow heads, mammoth bones and Neolithic pottery.  They also visited the “London before London” exhibit and identified how the people lived and worked at that time in history.

The museum guide commented on how beautifully behaved the pupils were and the quality of their questions and manners.  Excellent job Year 3!

A special ‘Thank You’ needs to go out to our amazing Parent Helpers who worked really hard and looked after their groups fantastically – we couldn’t do the trips without you and appreciate all your support as always.
