Spring term 1 was very busy in Reception classes. The topic for this term was People who help us and in the first two weeks we learnt about the police. The children had the possibility to find out what a police officer is doing and what this job is about. We went to Forest School and the pupils were delighted making their own badges, drawing police officers and recreating a crime scene, being very eager to catch the criminal.
Forest School represents an amazing opportunity for Reception children to explore the environment and to secure their learning through various activities which help them to go into a deeper world full of mystery.
