    Starting Reception - How can I help my child get ready?

    • Your child will have lots of new activities and routines to get used to when they start school. There are some things they’ll need to do more independently than they might have before.
    • ​Research shows that a child’s relationship with their parents is the most important factor in their development, and there’s a lot you can do at home.
    • ​When your child is at home with you or another caregiver, you can practise as a family with fun activities.
    • Some of these skills take time to master, so it’s good to introduce them gradually as part of your daily routine.

  • Lake District - 2024

    Some of our Year 5 children have travelled to the great outdoors on their residential visit to The Lake District National Park. They will be taking part in a variety of activities, including rock climbing, gorge walking, hiking and visiting a local farm, they are sure to have an unforgettable experience of a lifetime. Photos will be uploaded to the gallery as soon as we receive them.

  • Hot Chocolate Morning

    We are extremely proud of our North Beckton school council as they organised the school’s first ever hot chocolate morning.  Parents/carers and children were invited to join us in the school playground for this wonderful community event.  The generous donations from parents/carers totalled an impressive £147.00. This money will be used towards supporting more educational visits for the children at North Beckton. 

    Everyone enjoyed the event and there are already calls to organise another.
