Nursery Admissions
If you would like to place your child on our waiting list please come into the school office. Children can be put on the Nursery waiting list from the age of two and, depending on availability of places, will usually start the term after their 3rd birthday.
When a place becomes available for your child you will be invited to a parents meeting where you will be given a welcome pack and have a chance to meet the staff and look around the Nursery. We will then invite you and your child to come in for a taster session in the Nursery and you will then be given a start date.
During your child’s first week in Nursery they have a slightly shorter session to allow them time to settle. Each child is different, and our Nursery staff will be flexible and adapt to each individual child’s needs.
Please remember that the allocation of a Nursery place does not guarantee a school place and this has to be applied for separately through Pupils Services (details below).
Nursery Attendance
Good attendance and punctuality are vital for your child's early development. However, if your child is unwell, or you are runny late, we ask parents to use the Studybugs app to report absence and keep us updated. We continuously have a waiting list for Nursery places therefore if your child misses several sessions, or you are regularly late then your child may lose their nursery place.
