Nursery Admissions
If you would like to place your child on our waiting list please come into the school office. Children can be put on the Nursery waiting list from the age of two and, depending on availability of places, will usually start the term after their 3rd birthday.
When a place becomes available for your child you will be invited to a parents meeting where you will be given a welcome pack and have a chance to meet the staff and look around the Nursery. We will then invite you and your child to come in for a taster session in the Nursery and you will then be given a start date.
During your child’s first week in Nursery they have a slightly shorter session to allow them time to settle. Each child is different and our Nursery staff will be flexible to each individual child’s needs.
Please remember that the allocation of a Nursery place does not guarantee a school place and this has to be applied for separately through Pupils Services (details below).
Attendance
Good attendance and punctuality are vital and therefore we ask parents to telephone the school if you are going to be late or absent. We always have a waiting list for Nursery places and if your child misses several sessions or you are late regularly you may lose your place.
